I'll stamp all over 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast live on Netflix.

Briton Anthony Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.

Former two time unified boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.

Boxer's Mindset

"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I will genuinely try to injure him. That's my intention."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul instead criticized former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian rejected a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, criticized British rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.

"Jake Paul is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite saying he intends to punish Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a credible opponent," he stated.

Paul's History

Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Financial Success

Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest financial successes, regularly earning massive earnings.

Prediction and Confidence

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.

"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.

Physical Disparity

As the two fighters engaged in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this whole event is - and how astonishing it is that the match is truly proceeding.
