The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Table
Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master Brennan Lee Mulligan has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a colorful mix of heroes, and a gripping narrative featuring divine entities, demons, and dark forces expanding in power within the urban setting.
Heads-up: Revealing details for the latest installment of Campaign 4 are included.
The Soldiers Table Revealed
Episode 3 ended with a huge suspense moment and introduced the first table of adventurers who will branch out from the central cast to embark on their own adventure, separate from the remaining groups.
This warrior group features Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis Willingham), the agile character (Laura), Tyranny (Whitney Moore), Wicander (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).
Why Split the Party?
Given an extensive roster, it was obvious from the outset that maintaining everyone at one table would be unfeasible.
This explains, the opening chapters of the new season serve as an Prelude, connecting the characters’ stories before splitting into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Planners, and Explorers.
Characteristics of the Soldiers Table
As described by the DM, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who enjoy a traditionally charged battle-oriented gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are rare.
At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest the cleric might seem mismatched, but the events of the latest installment demonstrate why these particular heroes are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.
Reasons to Leave
For one thing, the team knows exactly where to head next after a violent first encounter with The Crow Keepers.
Casimir of Thjazi Fang—whose demise initiated the campaign’s events—exploited the foes for his personal gain, entering the secret base, assaulting the character, and taking all the enchanted items to dispose of.
The antagonist then cleared his debts and ran away to a Halovar stronghouse in the remote area, north of Dol-Makjar, with Cyd pursuing him.
Character Drivers
Additionally, each adventurer has a personal reason to leave the city Dol-Makjar:
- The agile hero, as the close ally and closest confidant, desires revenge.
- Kattigan has experience in the region and advises that it is a dangerous environment.
- Tyranny and Wicander, having disobeyed his family’s wishes to eliminate the target and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
- But, their position as key figures in House Halovar could help the team access locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Moreover, The grateful character swore a eternal obligation to Wicander for his rescue and will now accompany him everywhere.
Pursued by Authorities
In addition, all of them are hunted by the rulers that control the city for a range of causes, making staying in the city dangerous:
- Thimble and The hero are notorious outlaws.
- Tyranny and The cleric turned against the powerful family and the army of fiends they are aligned with.
- The fighter is marked for death by the family.
This results in them little choice but to journey toward the remote area in search of the antagonist.
Future Episodes
Based on the latest episode’s follow-up content, we learn that the Soldiers table will not appear next week, leaving the other eight cast members to round up the Questers and Planners parties.
Audiences can anticipate learning which characters will be assigned to which table in the season’s concluding setup installment, released on the upcoming Thursday.
